As they reached the door to the Grand Hallway, the Grand High Curator stopped and put his hand on Seyan’s shoulder. It was a large hand, but gentle. He was a very tall man, gray of hair and beard, yet not too slowed down by his 80 years. His blue eyes always looked as though they saw humor in everything. At least, that was Seyan’s opinion. She was pretty sure that some of the High Curators thought he looked upon them with less than good humor, but then, High Curators could be an overly sensitive lot.
