People Of The Solar System…: Titans
Despite being a cold, dangerous place, Titan has the largest population in the Outer System. Nearly 100,000 people live in the 5 cities there. Most of them are Russian, American, or German, but there are smaller numbers of others.
Life is quite good on Titan, but it is also all about research or business. Most people only live there for a few years before going home. The start of construction on the new orbital space port is expected to bring in several thousand workers, all of whom will be contracted to spend the estimated 10 years of construction time there.
One note of interest to travelers is that you must go see the Aviary Park in Edison City. 600 feet long, 150 feet wide, and 90 feet high, it houses 100 Terran bird species. It’s like a small piece of home.
