The Northern Badlands
This part of The Road runs pretty straight east to west, but does move through a couple of twisty canyons. It is much wilder country than the eastern area. There might be a few more monsters here.
The most amazing thing is that at around the halfway point, the Road passes 100 yards south of a huge pyramid, roughly the same size as the Great Pyramid of Giza. There are no other buildings nearby. The pyramid seems to be in very good repair.
All along this stretch of the Road, the travelers will find odd things in the middle of the Road. This could include money, jugs of water, interesting wood carvings, and food.
