Strange Shops: Shop 11D

Wait wait wait! You’re all telling me you’ve gone into the same shop and it was different each time? That’s nuts!
PowerDog, you say it was a used map store? And you bought a map that showed how the old Bartley building had once been where Center Park is, but like, in 1892? And you figured that when it burned down in 1915 and they put in the park, the basements were just covered over and Bad Monkey used them as his hideout? Okay.
But then Red Mist here went into Shop 11D and it was a wine merchant and all she got was a few bottles of Chateau Regine 1961. I mean, great wine, but sure as hell not a mystery solving map shop.
So, Sally Smithfield here goes into the shop because it had old car stuff in the front window, but then she sees another shopper looking like a guy from a robbery a week earlier. She buys a side mirror for her car, then follows the guy to the East Side before calling Doc Tempest to let him know shit may be going down.
And finally, I go there just to check it out and it’s acandy store and they have Chocolate Chicken Legs! I haven’t seen those since I was a kid, so I bought a case.
Maybe that shop isn’t so weird after all.
