Goblinia
You have just entered the Goblin Homeland. You see The Road ahead of you suddenly go down into a tunnel. Yes, this entire 130 miles is underground. It passes right down the center of many goblin villages, towns, and even a city. The surface of The Road is gravel, and once you get about half a mile in and 500 feet down, it runs flat and straight.
Not everywhere along this part of The Road is inhabited by goblins. Some areas are wild and home to all manner of creatures. That said, as long as you stay on the 40 foot wide road, you’ll be pretty safe, despite the taunting and threats of any goblins.
However, this IS the goblin homeland, so things could get pretty dangerous if you leave The Road.
