“Hiya, Sanchez. Yeah, the vic is over here, and it’s a weird one. The M.E. says he was critically injured from falling down the stairs, but that it looks like he was pushed and had been poisoned, but final cause of death was suffocation using that pillow over there. Somebody wanted to make sure he was dead.
But here’s where it really…oh yeah, he had like, 6 cats like that one…anyway, he was kind of a paranoid, so he has a dozen cameras outside. No chance of not being seen by them, but nobody entered the house in the last 5 days. No, the vic lived alone, except for the cats, so…hey, Lee, answer that phone.
So yeah, we’ve got a body with no killer, yet. Somebody must have gotten past the…what is it, Lee? HUH? How much? What the? Higgins, check that computer upstairs, now! This shit is getting nuts. That was the bank on the phone saying they were calling to let Mr. Nolan know that somebody was using his credit card to try and order $5,000.00 worth of cat toys and treats. What the hell? Who would…wait…where did the cats go? Everybody find those cats! They’re suspects!
