So We Put It In A Box And Mailed It To Russia

…without a return address

Oh yeah, baby, I’ve got stuff for you

1: Ok, so I watched Tin Man on Sci Fi Channel. Despite being somewhat predictable and having a 3 hour story drug out to 6 hours, it did not suck. I liked the various references to the Judy Garland version and Zooey Deschanel, while not as hot as her sister Emily, is still quite the little cutie.

2: Winker’s birthday is Sunday. As per our canine birthday rules, she’ll get steak for dinner.

3: As you can see, I created a new icon of myself. Note the lack of grey in the hair and beard. Also, the beard is way smaller than my present Santaesque facial adornment.

4: Note to Rudy Guliani: Hey, you adulterous asshole, you are NOT “America’s Mayor”. You weren’t even universally loved by New Yorker’s when you were mayor there. As for being a 9/11 hero…you aren’t fit to kiss the asses of the real 9/11 heroes.

5: On May 15th-18th, Alton Brown be will be hosting the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s events on sustainable seafood choices, “Cooking for Solutions”. If tickets are not priced out of my income level, I just might go see him.

6: This bit of alternate universe moviemaking popped into my head the other day and I thought, “ya know, that might just be a damned cool flick”: Harry Potter and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Harry as a thirtysomething adventuring wizard in the 1930’s…battling Nazis for a powerful magical item…Ginny Weasley in the Marion Ravenwood role…hmmm. There might be a cool one off convention game in this, too.

Time for other things. More blogging soon.
