Pirates Of The Circle Sea: Rugothar

Rugothar (his last name is a secret to everyone but the members of his clan), is the Raiding Master and Weapons Master of the Sea Goddess, under Captain Aksima Vell. He has known her since about a year before she actually became a pirate and is fiercely loyal to her. The exact nature of how they met is uncertain, but would seem to involve a prison break and the subsequent theft of jewels from the Prince of Pashtarak. Whatever the case, they soon after turned up in Corcoro, where Mr. Crubb aided them in purchasing a ship. It is said that they left Maidenheart Bay late at night in great haste with a Corcoronite cutter in hot pursuit.
Rugothar is Kivosian from the Kivos Plateau region of Sclovixia. Since the Kivos Plateau is home to some of the most ferocious and dangerous creatures on the planet, it figures that the people who live there are exceedingly tough, which they are. The average Kivosian stands 6’8” tall and has greatly enhanced senses, very fast reflexes and enormous strength. Rugothar is well above average in all of those as well as height and intelligence.
Kivosians are not humans, looking more like a cross between a human, an ape and a great cat of some sort. Rugothar has been known to run at nearly 40 miles an hour and leap 60 feet. His skin is covered with fur and is tough to cut with the average weapon. In battle, he usually wields a two handed sword, but is a master of almost any weapon. Should he find himself without a weapon, he can always use his fists, claws or long sharp teeth to deadly effect.
During down time, Rugothar is quite fond of swimming, fishing, hunting and just relaxing. He can drink alcohol, but it has absolutely no effect upon him, which he and the Captain have used to great advantage in the past.

Pirates Of The Circle Sea: Miss Deelena Hixx

Only Captain Vell knows the full story of how Miss Hixx came to piracy or what her life was like before that, and she’s not telling. Suffice it to say that when a teenage girl looked up the Captain in Rivertown one night 16 years ago and asked to join the crew, the interview went well enough that she left with the ship two days later. Seven years after that, she became First Mate, a post she still holds
Deelena stands 5’5” tall and weighs all of 120 pounds. Her hair is blond, her eyes green and her tattoos are all small, tasteful and well done. She has almost no scars anywhere. She is very good looking, a bona fide genius and totally willing to put a sword through any person who thinks she is just a pretty face.
Miss Hixx knows sailing ships like she knows her own name and can do anything asked of her, including cook. Her knowledge of curse words is only exceeded by Mr. Loorkas. She does not drink much and never gambles. On the other hand, she cuts a wide swathe through the young (and not so young) men in any port.
It should be noted that her falconparrot, Mr. Quanzy, is her constant companion and knows most of the swear words she does. He can also sing along with her, something they regularly do to entertain the crew.
