Pirates Of The Circle Sea: Mr. Crubb
(Note to roleplayers: These characters have no numbers assigned, but I do use various words to denote abilities, skills, etc )
The very first member of her crew to ever meet Aksima Vell was Mr. Ferdonius Crubb, her older cousin and one of the finest Helmsmen in all the Circle Sea. When Aksima decided to follow in the swashbuckling footsteps of her father, Ferdonius (AKA “Ferd”) was more than ready to help her. It was, in fact, he who found the proper first ship for her.
Mr. Crubb is a fairly bookish and soft spoken fellow when not actually steering the ship. He does not usually participate in boarding other ships, but has been known to use his skill with a long gun to pick off dangerous enemies. He is also an inventor and tinkerer who has created many gadgets that make shipboard life easier.
Mr. Crubb is also an excellent judge of where to invest money, something many of the crew ask his advice about. As a result, the officers & crew of the Sea Goddess are full or part owners (anonymously, of course) of several legitimate businesses. Anyone leaving the crew will never have to work again.
Ferd is 50 years old, 6′ 1” tall, weighs about 190 pounds, has short black hair, green eyes and a tattoo of a ship’s wheel on his chest. While not in any official sort of relationship, he and the ship’s Quartermaster, Mr. Dunaro, have been an item for at least a decade. During his off time, in addition to inventing & tinkering, Ferd plays the violin and goes fishing with Rugothar.
