She was feeling very strange just now, as though she were detached from her body and bouncing from one emotion to the next. The Museum had been her home for the last ten years. Every friend she had in the world was here, as was her work. On the other hand, it was all being threatened by these tencursed traitors. The rest of the world held the Last Museum in high suspicion and if some bunch of Curators tried to cause trouble, the Road People would march on all Museums and destroy them. She could not allow that to happen.
