Linguini With Clown Sauce

…it’s funny, the things we hear incorrectly

Doc Update

1: Not dead, just haven’t been motivated to blog these past couple of days.

2: The Fourth of July was no big deal for us (as with most holidays), except for dealing with poor Daisy, who is terrified by the noise of fireworks. Even after giving her a tranquilizer, she was still shaking and panting for hours. Next year, we’re gonna go camping far away from all the noise.

3: Made Pork Stroganoff Friday night and it was yummy. Why pork, you purists may well ask. Well, pork was on sale and beef was not.

4: Job hunting situation may take a turn for the better soon. Won’t go into detail until I know more.

5: All the work outside in the garden is giving me a pretty nice upper body tan…for a mostly Irish white guy:)

6: Later today, I’ll attempt to make pickles. We shall see how that turns out.

Gotta go. More bloggage soon.

  1. Screw the purists!
Roxy, a restaurant in Sacramento, does an awesome pork stroganoff. It’s essentially pulled pork in a savory gravy(very thin gravy, though) served over mashed potato ravioli and mascarpone cheese.
I was skeptical at first, but it’s delicious.

Yeah; good luck with that. It’s been my experience that people who routinely go camping on July 4 bring their own explosives; YMMV.
    Poor Daisy!
