The Long & Winding Road
Part 74
Lizardfolk
At this point, The Road enters into the “Lands of the Animal Folk” and this land is where the lizardfolk live.
There are two types here, the marsh dwellers and the drylanders. They get along okay. The marsh dwellers look more like alligators, while the drylanders look more like regular lizardfolk. They are a simple folk, farmers, fishers, hunters. They are non-aggressive until they are provoked, at which point they are deadly warriors.
Most of the few monsters here are either river based or stone elementals. There are no large beasts here.
This country is not very large, but because The Road winds back and forth, crossing the river five times, it is 115 miles long.
